Brad Davis Bio:
As a GRAMMY Record Performing Artist for Louisiana Hayride Record Label, Brad released his rocking country Christmas single “Come Play Santa With Me” in November of this year. His January 2018 Hayride single released “The Way We Fall Apart,” followed by his February release “Mick Jagger Jesus” a true story about a dangerous tattooed traveling bible biker garnered strong fan appeal. He just signed a new artist deal in May of 2018 with Alvarez Guitars, and was awarded his very own Brad Davis signature model custom acoustic guitar. Although Brad Davis has been a lead guitarist and back ground vocalist for many famous artist, Brad is a powerful solo performer in his own right performing solo acoustically or with his acoustic trio and sometimes with one of his two country-rock bands The Heroes – theheroeslive.com and the Crossfire Band. Brad has appeared on countless television shows, including Leno, Conan, The View, Good Morning America, Letterman, Grand Ole Opry, Hee Haw, Jimmy Kimmel and others. Brad’s time as a full-time member of ‘Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters’ garnered coverage in Rolling Stone Magazine and other major media outlets. Brad concluded a tour showcasing his fifth solo record on Louisiana Hayride Record label, titled “I Need Music,” released June, 2017.
Brad’s Bluegrass Gospel project ‘Walk On Faith’ resulted in several charting singles with the concept video for “Never Give The Devil A Ride” used in many episodes of the show, Nashville Country Revival, which aired multiple times on national networks such as Daystar Television, Heartland TV, TCT and others. His album, ‘A Bluegrass Tribute to George Jones’ met with rave reviews for its Bluegrass interpretation of many Jones classics.
As a songwriter, Brad recently had three #1 songs on the bluegrass charts: “Dark Side of the Mountain with Unspoken Tradition, “4th & Goal” with Terry Baucom’s band and “Derailed” with Doyle Lawson and QuickSilver. “4th & Goal” was voted the most played Americana bluegrass songs of 2017 according to Bluegrass Today Polls. He has had cuts by Tim McGraw – “Ain’t No Angels,” Tommy Shaw – Tommy Shaw – solo record “Great Divide,” Billy Bob Thornton – The Boxmasters Albums, Gerald Crabb – “Back Porch Mississippi” Record, Tony Triska – “On Looker Baby,” Phil Ledbetter – “Rambling Rolling Stone.”
Adding to Brad’s long list of accomplishments he has written, produced and performed on the film scores of productions for various stars, such as Willie Nelson’s ‘King of Luck Life Story’, Steven Segal’s “Fire Down Below” and Billy Bob Thornton’s “Jane Mansfield’s Car” and “Daddy ’n Them.”
